Yanke celebrates 50 years with Bank of Prairie du Sac


After half a century of service to the community, Patricia “Pat” Yanke from the Bank of Prairie du Sac has been honored for her dedication to the banking industry. Yanke began her career with Bank of Prairie du Sac on April 1, 1969 and as a result of diligent work and demonstrated ability, she advanced to the position of executive vice president. Yanke was elected to the Board of Directors in February 1986. She continues to serve as a board member. Yanke was honored at the Wisconsin Bankers Association Bank Executives Conference in Wisconsin Dells on February 4, 2020. Yanke was recognized along with two other inductees into the WBA’s 50 Year Club for extraordinary service to Wisconsin’s financial industry. Bank of Prairie du Sac hosted a private ceremony to recognize Yanke among staff and board members on February 21, 2020. “We’re here to recognize Pat for giving 50 years of her life to Bank of Prairie du Sac, quite a feat, quite an honor,” said Steve Ploetz, President and CEO of Bank of Prairie du Sac. Rose Oswald Poels, President of the Wisconsin Bankers Association, presented Yanke with a plaque to honor her 50 years of service. “I think people that reach these milestones really show a huge dedication to their community and certainly to their bank for what they do,” said Poels, “Fifty years at one bank is truly incredible.” Pictured: Bank of Prairie du Sac board member, Pat Yanke, receives plaque from Rose Oswald Poels, President of the Wisconsin Bankers Association and Steve Ploetz, President and CEO of Bank of Prairie du Sac.
