Marty (Martin) Perry is the SP Optimist student of the month

Marty (Martin) Perry, son of Craig and Pamela Perry, was nominated by Sauk Prairie High School teacher Ryan Mussack as the February Optimist SPHS Student of the Month. Mr. Mussack had this to say about why he nominated Perry, “Marty Perry is one of the hardest working students in this school. His devotion to the fine arts including: Marching Band, Theater, Show Band/Choir, and Forensics is almost unprecedented in our school. This is a kid who puts in many hours before and after school to not only hone his own skills, but to help to create a chance for others to perform. In addition to his school success, Marty has decided to serve his community and begin training to become a Volunteer firefighter.” Marty is also on the Sauk Prairie Theatre Guild Board, is currently acting in and directing some of SPTG’s Spring comedies and will be directing SPTG’s summer teen play.
