With new deaths, Black Earth’s COVID-19 fatality rate exceeds 10 percent

The Village of Black Earth recorded two new COVID-19 deaths, to bring the total to nine. The Village’s rate of deaths per ten thousand is nine times that of Dane County. 11.7% of those in Black Earth who have contracted COVID-19 have died. That compares to 0.6 percent for Dane County.
