Wisconsin Heights’ girls softball team dropped a 7-1 decision to Mineral Point in a WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal Monday. The Vanguards were the No. 7 seed and the Pointers were seeded second.

Heights finished the year 8-10.

While the Vanguards’ season ended Monday, it was shocking they made it to that point.
