Jackson, Mazomanie dog, stolen

Update:

A Dane County Deputy received a phone call from an individual claiming

they had Jackson the dog. In the early morning hours of November 14, 2021 the Deputy
responded to the woman’s residence and the missing dog was retrieved. The woman was
arrested for burglary and theft of a domestic animal. Jackson was returned safely to his owners.

Dane County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a stolen dog case in the Village of Mazomanie. Jackson, a German Short Haired Pointer, was taken from his home at 15 Wall Court on Thursday, November 11 between the hours of 6:00 am and 2:40 pm.

 

Jackson is 13-years-old, brown in color and approximately 70 lbs. 

 

There was no forced entry into the home and nothing else was taken. Anyone who may have information on this incident is asked to call the Dane County Communications Center at (608) 255 – 2345.
