Issac Homar is Optimist Student of the Month


Isaac Homar, son of Katie and Tim Homar and a senior at SPHS, was selected as the October Optimist Student of the Month. Shane Been, SPHS Assistant Principal, shared that Homar is a volunteer, works, takes AP classes, and is in the top 10 of his graduating class in academic status. He was a summer research assistant working with the monarch project. He is the National Honor Society President and is “able to see a step ahead, to anticipate where needs are.” He is also the captain of both the soccer and golf teams.
