Heights boys split a pair

Wisconsin Heights’ boys basketball team opened the Capitol South Conference season in style last Friday.

The Vanguards traveled to Waterloo and toppled the host Pirates, 85-67. Heights led at halftime, 35-30, then erupted for 50 second half points.
