After three weeks of competition shooting, the River Valley Trap Team--which includes a few students from Wisconsin Heights--is in first place this spring. With a total of 19,288.50 points, they are leading over West Salem High School 16,980.50, Dodgeville High School 16,933.00, Banger High School 16,260.50, and Luxemburg-Casco High School 14,922.50. RV is in the largest of 10 conferences in the state with a total of 61 shooters. Hannah Hegland and Taya Hatfield are currently in the top 25 for female shooters in the state. Chase Bindl, Andrew Maxwell, Matthew Roh, and Garret Palmer are in the top 25 for RV’s conference.
