Sauk Prairie Marching Band having break-out season

The Sauk Prairie Marching Band is halfway through their 2022 competitive season, and they have yet to take any lower than 1st place overall among all competing bands. This past weekend, the band traveled to Waukesha, WI, and participated in MarchFest at Waukesha South High School. There, they took first place in class AA and first place among all fifteen competing bands regardless of class with a score of 77.225! The group swept all four caption awards for Best Music, Best Visual, Best Percussion, and Best Colorguard. Then on Sunday, the band traveled to the Fox River Invite at Waukesha West High School. A little rain couldn’t keep them down! They took first place in class AA and all competing groups with a new record high score of 80.913! Again, the group swept all caption awards. The band would like to thank everyone who has had even the tiniest part of their success this season. They are well aware it takes a village and are so glad that we have two! The Marching Band travels to Greendale High School on Saturday, October 1st for their next event. All details about the band can be found on their website at www.saukprairiemusic.com or you can check out their YouTube channel - “Sauk Prairie Music.”
