Lydia Zajicek is Optimist Middle Level Leader

Lydia Zajicek is the Optimist Sauk Prairie Middle Level Leader for October. She is an 8th grader and the daughter of Justin and Sarah Zajicek.  Lydia was nominated by the music department.  Mr. Williams, her band teacher, said of Lydia, “Lydia always has a positive attitude and works hard - she is an absolute joy to be around and is a leader in the band. She knows how to lift others up and is always supportive of everyone.” Mrs. Gulsvig Dunn, her choir teacher, said, “Lydia is a fantastic music student. She is conscientious and advocates for herself whenever necessary. She is such a bright light and a joy to have in the classroom. Lydia has been a part of every musical activity she possibly could be and has always been a role model for other students. It has been so much fun watching her grow into a beautiful singer and performer the last three years.” At the Middle School Lydia is involved with the Musical starring as Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast this last weekend, Forensics, and Show Choir. Outside of school, she enjoys being part of 4H, community theater and dance.  After High School Lydia hopes to go college and become a teacher.
