Brendan Marquardt is the Optimist Middle Level Leader

Brendan Marquardt is the Sauk Prairie Optimist Sauk Prairie Middle Level Leader for February. He is an eighth grader and the son of Bob and Kari Marquardt. Brendan was nominated by Mr. Judd Maxwell, his Tech Ed teacher. Mr. Maxwell shared this, “Brendan’s willingness to ask questions when he has concerns, to be okay when receiving further clarification when he is wondering about a task or instructions, has the ability to advocate for his needs makes him a great example of what a student can do to best help themselves. Brendan is attentive, kind, and considerate of others; traits and characteristics that do not go unnoticed by me. He leads by example and is someone who others enjoy being around.” At school, Brendan is involved in basketball, cross country and track. Outside of school, he enjoys club basketball, baseball and snowmobiling. After High School Brendan hopes to play basketball in college.
