Award winners

Sauk Prairie’s boys swimming team recently handed out its end of the year awards. From left are Carter Buss (Eric Krueger Award); Sam King (Most Valuable and Eric Krueger Award); Carston Lamont (Most Improved); Austin Kaukl (Eric Krueger Award); and Gage Ranzenberger (Eric Krueger Award). The Eric Krueger Award is in honor of Krueger, who died in a hunting accident in 2003. The award at the end of each season goes to someone who exemplifies what Krueger stood for, which was going above and beyond the call of duty. This year the award went to all four Sauk Prairie seniors. Photo by Aaron Jacobus
