Cub Scouts celebrate Halloween season, welcome new families

Thursday October 26th the Cub Scouts of Pack 87 had an awesome night playing games in the dark, carving Halloween pumpkins and making some new friends. Eight new families were welcomed into the Cub Scout Pack. Cub Scouting is part of the program of the Boy Scouts of America for youth (both boys and girls) who are in kindergarten through fifth grade (or are 5 through 10 years old). The Scouting program has specific objectives, commonly referred to as the “Aims of Scouting.” They are character development, leadership development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. Cub Scout Pack 87 serves communities along Highway 14 from the west side of Middleton all the way to Mazomanie. To see some more Cub adventures visit the Pack’s Facebook page “Pack 87 Cubscouts”. Questions about membership can be addressed to Cubmaster Pete Ludt at (262) 370-3429 or via email at PackCubmasterPack87WI@gmail.com.
