History lecture on Mazomanie’s sudsy past

How many taverns did Mazomanie have? Would you believe fifty! Would you believe up to nine at one time! There was also a brewery in town. Its picture is shown here from about 1895. If you want to know more about the taverns and brewery, come to a one hour history lecture on Wednesday May 15, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. The presentation will be in the Mazomanie District One EMS building at 316 W. Commercial Street (Highway 14). Lecture will be by Frank Wolf, the Historian of the Mazomanie Historical Society. All Mazomanie history questions will be answered.
