Black Earth Mickelson’s-Martin American Legion Post 313 on Memorial Day, May 27, 2024 was at Heartland Country Village in Black Earth. After a program for the residents put on by a dozen Post 313 family members, Post 313 Chaplain Bill Rettenmund conducted a Quilt of Valor presentation for 10-year American Legion member Myron Norslien, an Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. Assisting with the award were, pictured, left to right: Post Commander Dennis Wood, Myron Norslien, and Post Adjutant Gary Ballweg.
