High water levels on the Wisconsin River to blame

In contrast to last summer's drought and heat, contuned rain on Tuesday and more in the forecast led to the cancellation on Fire on the River for its oeriginal July 4th weekend dates. With just days before the event, much of the grounds for the festival are under water as the Wisconsin River continues to run high. The event has been rescheduled to August 2nd and 3rd.
