New member inducted during Optimist summer picnic

Erika Schade, center, was inducted into the Sauk Prairie Optimist Club at their summer picnic on July 17th. Joy Pulsfus, at left, stood in for Erika’s sponsor, Ellen Paul, while District Lt. Governor Fred Dorn, at right, performed the honors. The Sauk Prairie Optimists meet the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 7-8 a.m. at the 6:8 dining room, 821 Industry Rd. in Sauk City. If there is a fifth Wednesday, the club meets from noon to 1 p.m. at the Sauk Prairie School District Board meeting room.
