The good place

 

The first love of my life was an old woman who lived in the farmhouse next door. She wore pink plastic rollers in her short hair and royal blue dresses draped over her frame, with beige pantyhose and cat-eye glasses she utilized to read endlessly to me, day-after-day, evening-after-evening.
