Minnesota woman arrested on drug charges

A Minnesota woman was apprehended in Reedsburg last Saturday on drug-related offenses.

According to the Reedsburg Police Department, officers were dispatched to a business on the west side of town just after 11:45 a.m. to collect a suspicious bag. The plastic bag containing a white powdery substance was discovered by business staff. A review of business surveillance footage and further investigation led to a residence on the city’s west side. Officers made contact with the residents and then located Kiaela R. Bracy, 40, of Winona, Minn., who was attempting to hide in a basement.

Bracy was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine (second offense) and possession of a controlled substance, according to the Reedsburg Police Department. She was taken to the Sauk County Jail.
