Construction projects continue in Village of Arena

David Jones spoke to the board about waiving the fence at the concession stand at the Jolanda Peterson and Mary Jones Memorial event. He said that usually there is a fence for beer garden but arts/crafts vendors will create a natural barrier from the small ball diamond fence line to the northeast corner of the parking lot.

Town of Roxbury’s Breunig retires after 43 years of service in government

Ervin Breunig recently retired from his position as town chair in the town of Roxbury and was honored for his service. Breunig became a town board member in April, 1980. He became town chairperson in 1992. After 43 years of service to the community, he decided to retire.

Prairie du Sac board talks about new village hall, road construction

The Village of Prairie du Sac met last week and discussed the village hall remodel, an ordinance update, as well was the repair and reconstruction of Highway 60/78 through the village, among other things.

Black Earth office hours temporarily changed

The Black Earth Village Office will be closed to the public on the below scheduled days in May for staff training.

During the week of May 21, the office will be closed at noon Monday the 22nd, Closed all day Tuesday the 23rd, and closed at noon Wednesday the 24th.

Black Earth says Yes to Low Mow May

The Village of Black Earth board met May 2nd and welcomed two new members, one through the election process, and one through appointment. Sarah Morrow won as a write in-candidate, and the board early in the meeting appointed former Village President Mitch Hodson to fill a vacancy.
