Mazo, Black Earth townships to see deputies with body cams

Dane County Deputies in the West Precinct will soon start wearing body cameras for a pilot one-year program. Residents in the townships of Mazomanie and Black Earth are among those who will be served by deputies wearing cameras.

Hit and run driver sentenced

Pat Nachreiner, 62, a Plain native who pled no contest to the charges of Hit and Run-Involving Great Bodily Harm, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison and an equal number of time on extended supervision by Sauk County Circuit Court Judge Patricia Barrett.
