The Badger Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) met on Thursday, January 19, at River Arts, and Army officials updated the public on the progress of the cleanup of Badger Army Ammunition Plant.
There will be a special film premiere of “Sauk Prairie’s 9 National Register Buildings.” The film was produced during 2022. This red-carpet event is hosted by the Friends of Sauk City History. It will be held on Sunday, January 22, at the Free Congregation of Sauk County, 307 Polk. Street, Saul City, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Gov. Tony Evers has announced the most recent round of funding for rural transit services.
Through the DOT, he revealed that 44 agencies will receive money to provide transportation services for seniors and the disabled. Overall, funding will total more than $5 million this year.

River Arts was busy on Saturday as crowds poured in to see presentations as part of Bald Eagle Watching Days. There was a live raptor in the lobby for everyone to see and learn about. Eagle-watchers went to Eagle Overlook in Prairie du sac as well.
