Black Earth--On January 1, 2025, Charles Ray “Chuck” Turk entered into eternal bliss, reuniting with the love of his life, Arlene (Thorson).

Prairie du Sac/Muscoda/Richland Center--Judy Ann Harper, age 78, of Prairie du Sac, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2025, after a courageous battle with ALS. Judy fought ALS on her terms and refused to let it take control of her life, right up to her last days.  

Mount Horeb--Roxanne M. “Rocky” Lucey, age 72, of Mount Horeb, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Ingleside Manor. She was born on April 17, 1952, in Madison, the daughter of Wayne Fries Sr. and Louise (Anderson) Fries.

Mazomanie--Gloria Mae Beaver left this world peacefully to be with God on December 20, 2024 at the age of 94.  She was born on November 17, 1930 in Poynette, Wisconsin to Martha (Zechel) and Daniel Smith.  She was the “apple of her mama and papa’s eye” being the last born of 8 children.  Mom graduated Valedictorian of her Poynette HS class of 19

Emilie J. Novotny, age 106, passed away peacefully on Dec.

Corey Joseph Hackl, age 35 of Perrysville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 22, 1989, in Sauk Prairie, Wisconsin to Brian Joseph Hackl and Geneva “Gen” Thompson.

Roger, a devoted family man with an infectious smile and a big heart, unexpectedly passed away on November 30, 2024. He was born in Wisconsin Rapids on April 2, 1937, and often noted he escaped being an “April Fool” by one day. He grew up with his parents, Russell and Verona, on a dairy farm in Vesper.

Lyle R. Kuhnau, 86, of Sauk City, Wisconsin, passed away on December 7th, 2024.

Lyle was born on June 27, 1938, in Troy Township, the son of Alfred and Mabel (Paepke) Kuhnau. He grew up on the family farm on Cassel Prairie and attended a one-room schoolhouse near his home graduating from Prairie du Sac High School in 1956.

Mosinee--Bridget Marie Handel (Kuehn), 48, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Born on December 20, 1975, in Madison, she was the beloved daughter of Joe and Koreen (Kay) Kuehn.
