Sauk Prairie--Marlene Larsen passed away November 28, 2023 at the age of 89 at Maplewood Nursing Home in Sauk City. She was born to Dewey and Meta (Zunker) Schult January 26,1934. Marlene was united in marriage to Edward “Ed” Larsen Sr. December 20, 1952.

Louis L. Holmquist, 84, of Watertown, WI, passed away at home on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.

Sauk Prairie--Dean D. Pfaff, age 96, passed away peacefully at the Pines in Prairie du Sac on Thursday, Dec. 7,2023 surrounded by his family.  He was born Oct. 4,1927 in Hillpoint to the late Theodore and Esther (Langley) Pfaff.  He worked alongside his father in his blacksmith and machine shop until 1950.  Dean proudly served in the U.S.

Sauk Prairie--Dorothy Kundert, age 95, died peacefully in her sleep early Friday morning November 24 at Sauk Prairie Healthcare. Dorothy was born June 10th 1928, in rural Stoughton Wis. to Aksel and Hilma (Olson) Johnson. Dorothy attended the one room Odland Schoolhouse near the farm where she grew up.

Sauk City--Raymond “Ray” Wipperfurth, age 87, passed away unexpectedly at his home Friday, November 17, 2023.  He was born at home on April 25, 1936 to the late Werner and Florentina (Werla) Wipperfurth.  He attended Sauk City High School graduating in 1954.  Ray married Shirley Kippley November 4, 1958; she preceded him in death on August 15, 2

Mazomanie--Richard “Blue” A. Larsen of Portage and formerly of Mazomanie, age 73, passed away peacefully at home Friday, Nov. 10, 2023.  He was born May 21, 1950 to Reuben and Lillian (Stammen) Larsen.  He was a graduate of McFarland High School; class of 1968.  He was united in marriage to Madonna Fisher on Sept.

Prairie du Sac--Randall J. Kirch, age 81, passed away in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his loving wife and daughter on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023 after a long, courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.  He was born Oct. 8, 1942 to the late Walter and Imelda (Schneider) Kirch.

Sauk Prairie--Doug Mabie, age 74, of Sauk Prairie passed away peacefully at Agrace Hospice, Janesville on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023.  He was born in Baraboo on Oct.

Scott “Uno” Reible, age 62, passed away surrounded by his family on October 29, 2023 at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg.   

The son of Earl and Sadie (Block) Reible, Scott was born August 18, 1961.  He graduated from Sauk Prairie High School in 1979 and attended The New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
