Sauk Prairie School District eyes spring election, will meet virtually for first week of the new year

Sauk Prairie School District will be rolling out a virtual model for the first week of the 2021 school year. Students with last names from L to Z will meet three times--Monday, Wednesday, and Friday--and students from A to M will meet Tuesday and Thursday. The District will remain in a hybrid model after the first week.

Wisconsin Heights hears about liability and public orders

At the November 23 meeting, Wisconsin Heights District Administrator presented the legal framework surrounding orders, recommendations, and guidance, coming from the state and County. All three have an impact on the District’s liability.

What’s happening at Wisconsin Heights?

Students in Ms. Crede’s class read the “Great Reindeer Rebellion,” then drew a picture. They got a leg up on life after school be filling out a job application for Santa.

The November Above The Line theme was “Respect.”  The students listed below received awards on Thursday & Friday, November 19th & 20th, from their classroom teacher who felt that they are an individual that is respectful of others.  Congratulations to these students!

Grand Avenue holds 43rd annual Prediction Run

Grand Avenue Elementary School held their 43rd annual Prediction Run. Each runner predicted how long it would take to complete the course. Those who came closest to their predicted time received a t-shirt.

Wisconsin Heights referendum passes by a close 3% margin

The Wisconsin Heights School District’s $27 million facilities referendum passed last week by a 2.8 percent margin, a close vote driven primarily by Village of Black Earth and the Town of Berry voters. The referendum was approved by a 58% margin in the Village, and by 58 percent in the Town.
